CAPTIONS / IMAGE LABELS MYYL Gastric cardia cancer PATIENT FOLLOW-UP RECORDS Gong Qiang · 70 · Nanjing, Jiangsu English translation · Original medical images retained CASE RECORD · Gastric cardia cancer · 70 Gong Qiang was diagnosed locally with moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma of the gastric cardia on 28 July. He did not wish to proceed with surgery at that point, traveled from Nanjing on 2 August and attended an in-person consultation on the 3rd. He returned home and began the medicine on the 4th. At the 19 August follow-up, he described disagreement with his spouse, who preferred surgery in Nanjing. He felt some change and wanted to continue Chinese medicine. The account describes a distressing family argument; this is part of the history, not treatment evidence. FOLLOW-UP After one course, he reported a noticeable change and shared tongue photographs. The original photographs and messages are retained; appearance of the tongue does not establish a cancer response. After about three months, a later biopsy was described as high-grade intraepithelial neoplasia, while an earlier biopsy had shown adenocarcinoma. Different biopsy samples do not establish that invasive cancer reverted to a precancerous condition. The account also reports normal listed tumor markers and better strength and spirits. Both original pathology records remain below. CHAT PANEL S237-P01 Gong Qiang · Gastric cardia cancer It may be related to the weather. Chengdu is very humid, and the changes between hot and cold after your arrival may have affected you. Perhaps. I have just eaten and feel a little better. Thank you. 4 Aug AM 11:40 Mr Ling, I have arrived home safely. Thank you for your kindness and care during my visit to Chengdu. Please also pass my thanks to Director Yang and Assistant Yang. 4 Aug AM 11:48 Glad you arrived safely. Please take the medicine as the director instructed. We sent the remaining decoction by SF Express yesterday. Watch for the delivery and contact us with any questions. 4 Aug noon 12:32 CHAT PANEL S237-P02 Gong Qiang · Gastric cardia cancer 19 Aug 22:29 Mr Yang and I have different days off this week. I am off today, but the medicine has been sent. SF Express had no insulated boxes or ice packs available, so it went through ZTO's medicine-delivery service, which is also fairly quick. Is your spouse feeling a little better? 19 Aug 22:35 A little better. It is all because of my illness. They have always disagreed with my choosing Chinese medicine and arranged a leading doctor in Nanjing for endoscopic dissection. I insisted on my choice, and the disagreement made my spouse so upset they fainted. Sigh… I have placed my hopes in your team. I feel there is no turning back. I hope it works out. 19 Aug 22:47 Mr Ling, are you there? This was the previous photo; you can compare it with the one you took today. Last time there were purplish areas and small bleeding spots on both sides under the tongue. Now only one side still looks congested; the other has improved, and there are fewer bleeding spots. I see it. The difference is obvious.
