English translation · Original medical images retained
CASE RECORD · Lung nodules · 79
Huang Dongmei, 79, from Changde, Hunan, had bilateral lung nodules, including a newly described left lower-lobe nodule of about 9 × 10 mm. She reported cough, phlegm, bloating, breathlessness, weakness and leg discomfort. After seeking care in May, she later reported more comfortable breathing and some relief of leg symptoms.
The September follow-up account says the previously new left lower-lobe nodule was no longer seen and the other nodules had not enlarged. The narrative varies in whether it dates that new finding to April or May; the report dates should be used.

She is taking the medicine regularly, with each preparation lasting two days. Some things have improved quite a lot. I will visit my mother to check in more detail. On the phone she said she is not coughing as badly as before, although she still brings up white phlegm. There is a purplish mark on the outside of her chest. Her legs have felt less uncomfortable for several days; that has improved.

That sounds encouraging. Let me know before your next visit to her so I can arrange a consultation with the director in advance.
