Ye Xue, from Guyuan, Ningxia, reported bloating and abdominal pain. An April 2025 examination described fluid around the liver, spleen and bladder, with a maximum depth of approximately 6.9 cm. The case account records seeking Chinese medicine care in May.
An August 2025 follow-up report no longer described the previous abdominal fluid. The original ultrasound reports and images are retained in full.
