CASE RECORD · Breast cancer · 39
Jin Meijuan noticed a breast lump in March 2025. An April examination diagnosed invasive ductal carcinoma of the right breast, grade II. After chemotherapy, she experienced hair loss and dizziness. The earlier size relayed in the record was 38 × 28 × 13 mm. Grade II is not the same as Stage II.
Surgery was recommended, but she did not wish to proceed and sought a video consultation for Chinese medicine. She later said she could no longer feel the lump and relayed a size of 17 × 11 mm. The chat itself notes that not feeling a lump does not mean it has disappeared. The paired original reports are not included here.

My tumor has disappeared on its own.
AM 10:04
I can't feel it at all.
Have you had an examination?
MRI.
They said I needed my breast removed, so I went straight home. The lump was still quite large the night before the examination, then I could no longer feel it the next day.
I had the scan just after it became less noticeable. I believe it will keep shrinking.
I can't feel it at all now.
The report still shows a lesion. Since you do not want surgery, you need to continue the Chinese medicine, treating both the symptoms and the underlying condition to help prevent further problems.

Before it was 38 × 28 × 13 mm. Now it is 17 × 11 mm.
Not being able to feel it does not mean it has completely gone. You can see some improvement with treatment.
I have four days' medicine left. I did not take it while I was in Hangzhou.
Then continue the medicine to consolidate treatment and improve your general condition, including the patented anti-tumor medicine.
It is best not to interrupt it.
Yes, that was my thought too.
Contact Ms Jia to check the director's schedule and arrange another consultation.
I'll discuss it with my sister later.
You can see the change. What else do you need to discuss?
I still need to tell her.
Which sister? The one who is a doctor or the one looking after you?
The doctor wants me to have a mastectomy. I do not want to discuss it with her.

Then discuss it with your other sister. You have seen some change, so we can help arrange another consultation and prescription to continue treatment.
Please book it for me. How much should I send you on WeChat?
Okay. Send a WeChat message to the care coordinator, who arranges your follow-up and monitors your treatment.
This is a follow-up visit. You do not need to pay another registration fee.
Reply to: How much should I send on WeChat?
Oh, okay. Thank you.
I have also told the coordinator. Please send them a message.
Chinese medicine is better. With Western medicine you have to keep registering.
I understand.

We focus on treatment and treat the person as a whole. Many of our ideas differ from Western medicine.
Western medicine just cuts things out. It is very aggressive.
Yes.

We discussed this with you and your sister before you came here. This is quite common now.
All that chemotherapy and radiotherapy feels unbearable.
You are still young. Cooperating with treatment and choosing the right approach is good.
Let's keep going together.
I have missed three appointments with the other doctor. It feels as if heaven is helping me this time.
It disappeared the day before the scan. A miracle.
I really intended to follow the standard treatment, then this happened.
It must be related to taking our medicine!
I cannot go against fate. I will have to miss the appointment again.
I am pleased for you. Continue seeing our director for more medicine to consolidate the results, kill tumor cells and activate immune function, so healthy cells can suppress tumor-cell growth.
AM 10:21
They are all related.
